My journey as an author began with a simple desire: to help people encounter God in a deeper and more personal way.
As a mother, I've seen how powerful Bible stories can be when they are shared with children in ways they can understand and enjoy. As a follower of Christ, I've also experienced the comfort, wisdom, and strength that come through prayer rooted in Scripture.
These experiences inspired me to write books that help make prayer more intentional and Bible stories more engaging — so that readers of every age can experience God's love and faithfulness in everyday life.
Thank you for being part of this journey. My prayer is that every page you read encourages you to know God more deeply and walk with Him more faithfully.
The writing journey
A long walk to the page.
Flavia's writing grew from the rhythms of her own life — mornings with the Psalms before the day's demands, and bedtime conversations with her three boys about who God is and how strong he is and whether he sees the small.
Her prayer journals were first a private discipline, then a gift for friends, then a book for anyone who wants to slow down and meet God in the middle of a busy life.
Her children's stories came from the questions asked at bedtime and the desire to introduce young readers to a God who is living, relevant, and transformational.
